Morning
7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
I start my day off by waking up naturally. I rarely set alarms unless I have to because I feel more rested and energized in the mornings that way. Next, I immediately get out of bed, open the blinds to let some sunlight in, drink water, and do a quick stretch. Then it’s off to the bathroom. Next, I journal, meditate, then read. After that I get ready for the day, I take my vitamins, make my matcha latte and then make eggs and toast an Ezekiel English muffin. While eating, I respond to any outstanding texts and watch inspirational YouTube videos to get me pumped for the day.
9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
I head to my desk for deep focused work time. I work on my top priorities for the day during these hours. This typically includes client outlines, creating content, making Powerpoints, updating my Teachable curriculum, or various other projects depending on the day. These tasks are always planned out ahead of time so I can immediately get to work with a clear purpose. I rarely plan meetings during this time unless it’s absolutely necessary.
Afternoon
12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
I get dressed for the gym and go work out. I work out in my apartment gym so it’s a quick walk outside then I work out. After I’m done, I check the mailroom for any mail and walk by the pool on my way back to my apartment. Next, I shower, eat lunch, and watch YouTube videos or hang out with my husband. Lunch is usually leftovers from dinner the night before. If I’m watching YouTube videos they’re usually vlogs or educational content on social media, time management, or something else business related. Since my husband works from home as well, we also spend this time chatting about our days.
2:30 p.m. to 6:30p.m.
During this time is when I go on social media especially Instagram to engage and check what’s going on. I also check emails during this time. I also take client coaching calls during this time. Client calls can vary depending on availability so I adjust my evening to accommodate.
Evening
6:30 p.m. to 8:00p.m.
I cook dinner and eat during this time, clean up around the house, and I check in with family, friends and DMs.
8:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
I head back to my desk to prepare for the next day and close the loop on any outstanding items.
8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
I head to my couch to catch up on shows and just unwind.
10:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
I light a candle, play some meditation music from the Calm app, and shower. Afterward, I do my skincare routine and hop into bed. I make sure to get off my phone at 11 p.m. and spend that time reading or hanging out with my husband before falling asleep.
